Join Our Team as a Construction Real Estate Lawyer at Axiom. We are currently working with a global leader in advanced battery manufacturing and energy storage solutions, that is seeking a Construction Attorney.

Job Responsibility

  • Advising construction companies on construction development/transactional issues
  • Working with and advising corporate clients directly regarding construction matters
  • Drafting and negotiating construction documents, including AIA contracts and FIDIC contracts
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a construction lawyer, with a focus on construction law, contract negotiation, and project development
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, real estate law, zoning regulations, and environmental laws
  • Strong drafting skills — clear, concise, precise, and accurate
  • Systems thinker with the ability to understand how discrete issues impact the broader project
  • Proven experience managing construction-related disputes and litigation
  • Experience working independently and cross-functionally and taking on complex projects
  • Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside

Nice to have

Complex commercial real estate experience is a plus, including real estate finance, leasing, and acquisitions and sales
