Job Description

The Strategy & Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the REW organization operates cohesively as we scale. This role translates strategy into sequencing, governance, alignment, and change management across multiple functions including People, Finance, IT, Security, and Legal. This is not a traditional project management role. It is a system-level integrator role that shapes how the organization moves.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate REW strategy into clear priorities, sequencing, and execution plans across a fast-scaling org
  • Design and run operating cadences and governance forums that drive clarity, speed, and accountability (without adding bureaucracy)
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across REW and key partners (People, Finance, IT, Security, Legal), surfacing tradeoffs and driving timely decisions
  • Drive change management for major workplace and real estate initiatives, including comms, rollout planning, and adoption follow-through
  • Identify recurring friction points (process, ownership, dependencies) and implement lightweight systems to remove blockers and improve coordination
  • Support enterprise-scale initiatives, including new business needs and M&A integration, ensuring REW operating rhythms scale with growth
  • Build simple, repeatable frameworks (planning, decision-making, operating metrics) that help the organization move predictably at speed

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program leadership, or business operations
  • Experience designing operating models, governance forums, or cross-functional coordination systems
  • Demonstrated success scaling complex organizations in high-growth or high-ambiguity environments
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align competing priorities
  • Strong executive communication skills, including structured memo writing and decision frameworks
  • High judgment with the ability to balance speed, risk, and organizational health
  • Low ego, high ownership, and a systems-oriented mindset

What we offer

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family, with employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts
  • Pre-tax accounts for Health FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and commuter expenses (parking and transit)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Paid parental leave (up to 24 weeks for birth parents and 20 weeks for non-birthing parents), plus paid medical and caregiver leave (up to 8 weeks)
  • Paid time off: flexible PTO for exempt employees and up to 15 days annually for non-exempt employees
  • 13+ paid company holidays, and multiple paid coordinated company office closures throughout the year for focus and recharge, plus paid sick or safe time (1 hour per 30 hours worked, or more, as required by applicable state or local law)
  • Mental health and wellness support
  • Employer-paid basic life and disability coverage
  • Annual learning and development stipend to fuel your professional growth
  • Daily meals in our offices, and meal delivery credits as eligible
  • Relocation support for eligible employees
  • Additional taxable fringe benefits, such as charitable donation matching and wellness stipends, may also be provided
  • Offers Equity
  • Performance-related bonus(es) for eligible employees
