Works with Real Estate Development Manager and Operations to prepare the Management Approval Package (MAP)
Analyze and perform return on investment metrics of projects to provide investment recommendations
Tailor existing financial models to new business case scenarios
Manage documents and key dates in Smartsheet and utilize reporting tools to manage dates
Research potential acquisition opportunities
Actively researches and monitors the growth plans of competitors
Shadow Real Estate Development Managers in a training capacity to learn the skills and tasks involved in site selection, contract negotiation, and the development process
Performs other job-related duties as required
Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and other professional development activities
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, or related field preferred with experience in project management, commercial real estate analysis, and market research
Financial modeling and projecting experience is strongly preferred
Must be computer literate in MS Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and strong proficiency in Excel
Prior experience with Smartsheet or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is preferred
Strong knowledge or aptitude to quickly learn, navigate, and use GIS/desktop mapping packages and other real estate software as needed
Ability to effectively analyze and evaluate information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals
Strong communication skills to effectively read, listen, comprehend, and convey information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
Ability to apply analytical insights to inform and improve future projects
Ability to process information including gathering, assessing, coding, organizing, auditing, and verifying data

Physical Demands: Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of keyboard/computer
Work requires occasional bending, reaching, and lifting/moving up to 35 pounds
