Job Responsibility

  • Works with Real Estate Development Manager and Operations to prepare the Management Approval Package (MAP)
  • Analyze and perform return on investment metrics of projects to provide investment recommendations
  • Tailor existing financial models to new business case scenarios
  • Manage documents and key dates in Smartsheet and utilize reporting tools to manage dates
  • Research potential acquisition opportunities
  • Actively researches and monitors the growth plans of competitors
  • Shadow Real Estate Development Managers in a training capacity to learn the skills and tasks involved in site selection, contract negotiation, and the development process
  • Performs other job-related duties as required
  • Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and other professional development activities
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, or related field preferred with experience in project management, commercial real estate analysis, and market research
  • Financial modeling and projecting experience is strongly preferred
  • Must be computer literate in MS Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and strong proficiency in Excel
  • Prior experience with Smartsheet or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is preferred
  • Strong knowledge or aptitude to quickly learn, navigate, and use GIS/desktop mapping packages and other real estate software as needed
  • Ability to effectively analyze and evaluate information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals
  • Strong communication skills to effectively read, listen, comprehend, and convey information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to apply analytical insights to inform and improve future projects
  • Ability to process information including gathering, assessing, coding, organizing, auditing, and verifying data
  • Attention to detail
  • Physical Demands: Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of keyboard/computer
