Job Description:

This position provides support to the Development Managers and others in the Real Estate Development Team by preparing management approval packages and store location approval packages to meet the strategic needs of the company related to organic growth and redeveloping the existing network of stores.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare Management Approval Package (MAP) including preliminary site plans, deal economics, construction estimates, and financial models
Analyze and perform return on investment metrics of projects
Tailor existing financial models to new business case scenarios
Manage documents and key dates in Smartsheet
Research potential acquisition opportunities including ownership traffic information, competition intrusion, and comparable sales
Monitor growth plans of competitors and maintain database
Shadow Real Estate Development Managers to learn site selection, contract negotiation, and development process

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, or related field preferred
Experience in project management, commercial real estate analysis, and market research
Financial modeling and projecting experience
Computer literate in MS Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI
Strong proficiency in Excel
Prior experience with Smartsheet or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Strong knowledge or aptitude to quickly learn GIS/desktop mapping packages
Ability to effectively analyze and evaluate information
Strong communication skills
Ability to apply analytical insights
Ability to process information including gathering, assessing, coding, organizing, auditing, and verifying data
Attention to detail

Nice to have:

Experience with Google Earth, Kalibrate or other GIS Software
Experience with various County GIS & Recorder's department websites
