Client Biosciences is seeking qualified candidates for a unique yearly contract opportunity in the R&D Reagents Development followed by Bioprocess Engineering organizations at the BDB San Jose location.
Job Responsibility:
hands-on laboratory testing
basic flow cytometry workflows to assist in new assays and reagents development
preparation of biological samples
analysis of flow cytometry data
preparation of documentation
test method development/process validation studies
provide support for technology transfer of products and processes from R&D into operations
performing work under supervision of a project lead who will define deliverables
participate in project team meetings
be responsible for documenting and presenting findings
Requirements:
Experience with bench work
BS degree in Biology with Immunology as one of the subjects
analytical thinking and experience in MS Office
Experience in writing protocols, reports, and manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing specifications
Experienced in bench-testing and has effective analytical and problem-solving skills
M.S. in Biology, Immunology, Biomedical engineering and other Biological majors
Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in immunology, hematology and/or clinical chemistry in the clinical, research and pharmaceutical environment
Lab skills, including pipetting, working with blood, cells or other sample types
Knowledge of general laboratory safety, GMP’s, and associated regulatory requirements
Minimum B.S. degree in Biology, Immunology, Biomedical engineering and other Biological majors
Minimum of 2 years' experience in laboratories, academic research, pharma industry, contract research organizations, clinical research, or other relevant industry
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Extremely motivated and willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced environment, hardworking and multidisciplinary team
