Help prepare the UK & Ireland to deliver a world-class tournament. UEFA EURO 2028 will be one of the largest and most complex sporting events ever delivered across the UK & Ireland. The aim of the EURO 2028 Readiness Programme is to create a fully integrated readiness programme that prepares all stakeholders to deliver the best ever EURO Tournament.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the programme that ensures we are truly ready
Manage the design and delivery of a Readiness Concept for UK&I 2028 across the partnership
Implementing an exercise and simulation programme
Coordinating a testing programme
Rolling out an assurance programme across 9 stadiums, 8 cities and 4 nations
Establishing the Tournament Steering approach, including the development of C3i structures, Tournament reporting and the operating model for the EURO 2028 Tournament Hub
Work across delivery partners, UEFA and multiple jurisdictions to ensure lessons are captured, risks are understood and controls are embedded well before tournament time
Requirements:
Experience contributing to or leading readiness and testing programmes for a major event or complex operation
Strong understanding of programme governance, risk management and assurance
Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners
Advanced report writing and presentation skills
The ability to translate complexity into clear, structured plans
Sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
Nice to have:
Experience of working within a Tournament Hub, Main Operations Centre or equivalent environment
