Job Responsibility:

  • Take full ownership of the spray dryer process, managing everything from feed tanks and pumps to fluidized bed coolers and conveying equipment to deliver high-quality finished products
  • Monitor production to meet exact customer specifications
  • Perform periodic maintenance and meticulously log data to ensure operational transparency
  • Collaborate with intent by signaling process deviations and flagging opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Over four years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical expertise to operate complex automated equipment
  • Analytical skills to identify process improvements
  • Proficiency in managing a complex spray dryer system and its ancillary components, including feed pumps, valves, fluidized bed coolers, and conveying equipment
  • The ability to verify that raw feed meets chemical specifications before drying and to continuously monitor the finished product to ensure it aligns with strict customer requirements
  • Competency in performing periodic inspections and executing hands-on maintenance tasks to identify and signal equipment defects before they lead to downtime
  • Strong organizational skills to accurately log production data and activities into digital systems, ensuring full transparency into the state and progress of production orders
  • The ability to signal process deviations and proactively flag opportunities for optimization, embodying the 'Own It' philosophy through initiative and accountability
