Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide excellent service to our extensive portfolio of dealerships around the UK by following the maintenance process in accordance with our property policy.

Job Responsibility

  • To lead and assist with the management of the reactive maintenance process
  • Deputise for the maintenance manager in his absence
  • Progressing jobs logged by the dealership colleagues to Vertu SLA
  • Agree costs and appoint contractors to attend to property maintenance issues
  • Liaising with contractors and dealership colleagues to drive a quick resolution
  • Process invoices for completed works
  • Participate in the out of hours ‘on call’ phone rota
  • Work alongside the PPM coordinator, ensure that the asset register is kept current
  • Monitor, mentor and assist with managing the small team

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work, with the ability to review RAM’s
  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Proficiency with Excel, word and other office-based systems
  • Work alongside the PPM coordinator, ensure that the asset register is kept current
  • Monitor, mentor and assist with managing the small team
  • Be an integral part of the property maintenance team that provides support to other colleagues
