Every visit makes a difference, from enabling someone to cook again to helping them get back on their feet after hospital discharge. This role is perfect if you want to see the direct results of your care and celebrate small but powerful milestones with clients.
Job Responsibility:
Support people with personal care needs while encouraging independence
Assist with mobility and safe use of equipment
Prompt or support with medication as needed
Help with meal preparation while building clients’ confidence to manage independently
Provide short-term domestic support (laundry, light cleaning, bed-making)
Encourage and support clients with daily living tasks and community re-engagement
Monitor progress against personalised reablement goals
Maintain accurate records and report changes to healthcare professionals
Requirements:
Compassion and motivation to help people live independently
Good communication and observation skills
Flexibility and resilience
The right to work in the UK
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
