We're looking for an experienced and proactive RCC-M Cleaning Lead to join our leadership team at Hinkley Point C, supporting one of the UK's largest and most significant infrastructure projects. In this pivotal role, you will be lead the successful delivery of specialist cleaning and control services for HPC construction areas in line with nuclear compliance requirements, preventing any risk of contamination. We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in environments requiring stringent hygiene controls, such as pharmaceutical, food production, medical facilities, cleanrooms, or other air‑locked, PPE‑controlled settings. You will bring a strong knowledge of contamination prevention, controlled access, and compliance-driven cleaning methodologies, with the ability to adapt these to nuclear RCC-M requirements. You will already be an experienced senior manager who can demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects. You will be expected to understand the strategic model required to comply with the high compliance standards of cleanliness associated within the nuclear or similar industries.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out control service duties at the HPC site, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in compliance with industry regulations
Establish, lead and continuously refine a cleaning service that meets RCC-M nuclear cleanliness standards, including the development of quality, compliance, and operational documentation
Be responsible for the overall management of all specialist cleaning functions in accepted areas, ensuring readiness for nuclear operations
Conduct regular inspections on the operation to determine any unusual, recurring or emerging work requirements
Develop and maintain key documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Lead, develop, and support operational teams to deliver consistently high levels of hygiene and compliance
Work with the Client and Wilson James' workstream leads to ensure the collaborative strategy is followed
Support, participate and deliver resourcing, recruiting, and training plans
Monitor, analyse and provide data for management reporting
Authorise and approve planned procurement
Awareness of HR / IR compliance and resolutions within your team
Capable of carrying out HR processes and procedures
Identify best for project operational innovation
Ensure compliance with HSE standards
Ensure your reports are carrying out their duties effectively

Nice to have:
Experience within the Nuclear Industry or environments needing high levels of cleanliness and hygiene i.e. Medical / Pharmaceutical
Higher Education Certificate or Degree
COSHH regulation knowledge
NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification

What we offer:
Work-Life Balance: 9-day fortnight pattern (Mon–Fri one week, Mon–Thu the next)
Starting salary: From £75,000 per annum, plus a guaranteed monthly bonus (8.5%) for HPC-based roles
Travel & Lodge Allowance starting from £2,500 gross per month (if you live further than 35 miles from Bridgwater, subject to audit)
