co-create a strategic sourcing agenda and lead it for the totality of IKEA businesses using own expertise, facts, and science to translate the agenda into an action plan that secures everyday accessibility of materials in IKEA´s supply chain.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver to IKEA´s strategic sourcing direction for raw materials
Proposing actions to improve conditions at raw material source and downstream, at different material processing steps
Assessing IKEA investment opportunities (capital/dedicating internal resources) into the material industry value chain
Supporting and follow-up implementation of raw material sourcing plans and developing roadmaps to scale-up new business models and new set-ups
Secure an increased accessibility of feedstocks by contributing to the development of material requirements with a specific focus on raw material feedstocks originating from agriculture and forestry
Secure knowledge transfer within area of expertise within raw material organization and to relevant stakeholders
Define and co-develop relevant requirements, working methods and verification measures for agriculture and forestry based, as well as secondary and inorganic material based value chains together with Responsible Sourcing Development team, to secure legal compliance and that positive change in the entire supply chain is happening.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of Raw Material Management
Deep knowledge of IKEA business setup, processes, and systems
Deep knowledge of supply chain and industry
Deep knowledge of Due Diligence System
Good knowledge of different industrial set-ups
Strong capability to create, develop and anchor business cases
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong capability to facilitate learning
Good understanding of auditing ways of working
Working level in English
Proven successful project management and leadership experience
Experience in compliance systems and working methods and from sustainable development initiatives
Proven experience from stakeholder engagement
Knowledge of relevant raw material, sustainability and supply chain perspective
Knowledge from legislation, advocacy
Have a university degree in business development, innovation &/or sustainability, supply chain management, agriculture/agronomy, forestry, business administration and/or relevant working experience
Broad understanding of relevant aspects of the business, organization and stakeholder management.
