Job Description:

We are looking for an PMTS (Principal Member of Technical Staff) Engineer with an obsession for firmware. As part of the role, the PMTS Engineer will work closely with other firmware engineers, developers and architects across various IPs related to RAS in leading the designs and implementing firmware that spans pre-silicon and post-silicon for all AMD SoCs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead Engineer responsible for designing, developing, debugging, verifying and/or validating firmware, software and/or hardware in the RAS domain
  • Lead day-to-day firmware development work in the RAS domain
  • Provide consultation to internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements in RAS

Requirements:

  • Multiple prior years of related firmware experience in Server RAS BIOS/Firmware combined with technical education within the semiconductor industry
  • Extensive Server BIOS knowledge/experience in UEFI as well as embedded in RAS and related domains including PCIe, CXL, etc.
  • Expert level experience producing quality firmware
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
