Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or other related field required
Minimum of two years' experience in Employment/Training, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Outreach/and or Services to the Homeless, or related field, is required
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to pass a CORI and background investigation
Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Must have a valid driver's license

Job Responsibility

Performs initial intake and assessments of all veterans for acceptance into Veterans Inc. programs
Develops individualized service plans for homelessness prevention and or rapid rehousing based on veterans input, interests, and needs
Coordinates veterans' participation in the agency programs
Assists veterans with researching and accessing needed services including VA benefits, employment training/placement , educational support, counseling, housing, medical services and other public benefits
Tracks and reports case management progress through case notes and conferences with Program Manager and coordinates with all funding sources
Completes record keeping/documentation responsibilities and compiles data for monthly reporting into the agency database
Conducts outreach activities to market Veterans Inc. programs and engage new referral sources

Material Handling Experience: Proven ability to safely load, unload, and move materials within a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Job Responsibility

Material Movement & Kitting: Load, unload, kit, and move materials within the plant, yard, or designated work sites. You will convey materials from storage areas to their designated locations efficiently
Forklift & Crane Operation: Operate industrial forklifts and/or overhead cranes as needed to assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials and products. You will also securely attach lifting attachments to units and effectively signal crane operators to safely move loads
Packaging & Labeling: Read Bills of Material or follow oral instructions to accurately identify and prepare materials for production or shipment. You will package parts diligently, attach identifying tags or labels, and assemble crates to contain and protect products
Safety & Organization: Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoists, adhering to all safety protocols. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines and equipment, to support a safe and productive environment

Execute electrical testing procedures, including continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, functional testing, and other relevant electrical tests to ensure switchboard meets performance specifications and safety requirements, energized functionality testing
Ensure that all electrical testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to safety guidelines
Proficiently operate various electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, Hi-Pot testers) and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of this equipment
Accurately record and document test data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential failure points. Generate clear and concise test reports summarizing findings
Document any test failures or non-conformances, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to support root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
Ensure all testing activities adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 891, IEEE, ANSI), and internal quality management system requirements
