Job Description:

Within Fixed and Mobile Access Operation, this role is managing Vodafone Italy RAN operation & maintenance tasks within the RAN 2nd level support team. The 2nd level support engineer is supposed to trouble-shoot RAN issues, to apply procedures and changes meant to restore the service, to support remotely field engineer on complex troubleshooting, to manage 3rd level vendors support, to follow-up problem management with vendors, to execute planned works, including configuration changes or software upgrades on RAN nodes. The role requires technical expertise on RAN technologies, and at the same time know-how on processes such as incident management, problem management and change management, as well as knowledge of all security policies concerning user access management, patching and hardening related to RAN nodes
