Job Description

We are looking for a Ramp Manager to lead and coordinate airside operations, ensuring operational safety, efficiency in daily operations, and full compliance with company standards and current regulations. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all ramp handling activities, as well as supervising, developing and motivating the team under their responsibility.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate the execution of airside and load control procedures and processes, ensuring effective synchronization of ground teams
  • Guarantee operational and occupational safety, complying with all requirements for aircraft dispatch
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading, ramp equipment management, and passenger transportation to and from the terminal
  • Supervise daily operations and ensure flight schedules are met
  • Lead, supervise and motivate the ramp team in the performance of their duties
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards
  • Keep operational manuals and other key documentation up to date
  • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, environmental and operational safety regulations
  • Be responsible for internal base audits, ensuring correct execution across all operational areas
  • Establish and oversee processes to manage delays and operational incidents, reporting to AENA when required
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to the role

Requirements

  • Valid Category B driving licence
  • University degree, higher education qualification, or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the ramp department within a ground handling company
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability in people management
  • High level of English will be considered an advantage
