Job Description

We are seeking physicians for our Regional Traveler position, based out of the Triangle. You will be assigned to work at 2 or 3 hospitals, all of which are driving distance from Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding areas (no flights needed). This position is designed to strike a balance between excellent location, maximum pay, and scheduling flexibility, while still minimizing travel, and minimizing time away from home.

Job Responsibility

  • Work as a Regional Traveler assigned to 2 or 3 hospitals within driving distance of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill
  • Provide emergency medical care
  • Work shifts (generally 12 hours, occasionally 8-10 hours) grouped together to minimize travel

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification (e.g., ABEM, AOBEM, etc.)
  • State medical license
  • Specialty in Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, or related
  • US Citizen, Green Card, H1B, or J1 visa status
