Job Description

This vital onsite position ensures the smooth operation and integrity of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, with a strong focus on gift processing, custom reporting, and donor list maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to be a critical member of a mission-driven team, providing top-tier database and donor management expertise while supporting important fundraising initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Administer and maintain Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT database for donor management and fundraising operations
  • Accurately process all charitable gifts, pledges, and payments, ensuring timely acknowledgement and correct fund allocation
  • Create, customize, and manage complex reports, queries, exports, and dashboards to support development and organizational goals
  • Maintain donor and constituent records with a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support the data needs of fundraising campaigns, events, and mailing efforts, ensuring data is segmented and targeted
  • Collaborate with the development team and leadership to provide data analysis and insight to inform strategy
  • Train staff in Raiser's Edge best practices, ensuring database usage is efficient and effective
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform regular data clean-up, and implement database enhancements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT in a nonprofit development setting, with demonstrated expertise in gift processing, reporting, and donor database administration
  • Strong knowledge of constituent management, batch and gift entry, custom reporting, and data hygiene best practices
  • Proficient in advanced query and export functionality, mail merges, and segmentation for direct mail/email campaigns
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must work onsite in Woodland Hills, CA (remote/hybrid not available)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
