Job Responsibility:
To lead and direct a highly effective and motivated team who are dedicated to the reduction of crime, anti-social behaviour and fare evasion
Ensuring staff performance is compliant to required standards of the Penalty fares Scheme, Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme, PTS, legislation and any other company and role specific standards
Actively monitoring staff in the working environment and conducting regular 1:1 reviews on a periodic basis
Developing and implementing coaching plans which will improve individuals output to ensure achievement of desired objectives
Conducting interviews and investigations in line with HR procedures
Carrying out REO daily briefings
Acting as an authorised person under the RSAS and PF Scheme
Being prepared to attend courts of law to provide evidence in response to incidents or to verify role and act as an expert witness
Requirements:
Previous experience of leading and managing a team
Previous experience of working in an environment with a high level of customer contact
Previous experience working in an enforcement environment and dealing with conflict
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to write reports
Excellent verbal communication and motivation skills
Previous Office experience an advantage
Computer literate, knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent organisational skills
Live within a 45-minute travel time to the location you’re applying for
Have been a UK resident for three years or more
Are able to complete and successfully pass Level 2 Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) which is undertaken by the British Transport Police (BPS)
