Job Description:

Are you interesting in being apart one of the UK's largest major Rail projects? If so then this is the perfect opportunity as my client are looking to onboard multiple commercial employees into their team across their London sections (North & Central.

Job Responsibility:

  • Financial Management: Lead cost control, forecasting, and CVRs. Prepare monthly reports covering profit/loss, cash flow, and budget
  • Contract Administration: Manage applications for payment, valuations, and payment certificates. Ensure all notifications comply with contract terms
  • Procurement: Handle supply chain enquiries, negotiations, and contract close-outs
  • Risk & Value: Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to optimize project solutions
  • Project Support: Act as a point of contact for subcontractors and clients. Provide contractual advice and maintain rigorous site records/meeting minutes
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policy and Joint Venture sustainability/statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent or 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Proactive

Nice to have:

  • Strong contract experience
  • NEC experience
  • Major Project Experience
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience in rail or infrastructure projects
