Job Responsibility

Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures

Competent in all roles for Cath/EP or IR
Demonstrates competence in operation of all imaging and related equipment
serves as a radiation expert resource
Provides clear communication, collaborates with providers and team regarding technical issue to ensure reliability of quality assurance in imaging, hemodynamics and oximetry
Ensures patient care is delivered in a safe manner and within scope of practice. Sterile technique followed with prepping, draping, assisting and circulating
Utilizes safety tools and tactics in all patient care interactions
Serves as patient advocate, ensures documentation, educational needs identified and plan of care agreed upon
Serves as resource to the team
