Job Description

Baptist Health is looking to add a Radiology Technologist Intern in our Radiology Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, Florida. The Rad Tech Intern reports to the Lead Technologist on shift. This is a PRN opportunity. This Radiology Technologist student will be a 2nd-year student, and work in all aspects of x-ray (ED, Portables, Fluoro, and OR).

Job Responsibility

  • Assists the Radiology Technical staff by transporting patients, handling cassettes, and obtaining patient records
  • As training progresses, assume a more hands-on technical role by performing diagnostic exams on patients under the direct guidance of a registered technical professional
  • Compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year in X-ray as a technologist upon completion of licensure requirements

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • High School (preferred)
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
