Radiology Technologist 1

• Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity insuring the principles of ALARA are achieved
• Participates in the department quality improvement processes insuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
• Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department's patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support certification
• Certified Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography
• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology
• Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred
• ARRT Radiography certified or eligible
• Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
• Change agility and flexibility a must
• Less than 1 year minimum required experience
