Under the direct supervision from the Technical Supervisor, Charge Technologist, Director of Imaging and indirect supervision from the Imaging Medical Director performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and department policies. Prepares diagnostic procedures for interpretation in accordance with established department policies and procedures. Also performs a variety of other duties including scheduling procedures, answering telephones, and interacting with other departmental and hospital employees. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

Requirements:
One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting preferred
Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology required
California Radiology Technology license (C.R.T), required
BLS (Basic Life Support)
California Radiologic Technology fluoroscopy permit (CRT)
American Registry of Radiologic technology license (A.R.R.T) preferred
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physics, and radiographic positioning techniques required
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols required
Nice to have:
One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting
