As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
Job Responsibility:
Produce diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions
Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
Contribute to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
Operate Radiographic, Tomographic, Fluoroscopic and mobile Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment
Set technical factors and follow established protocols to produce diagnostic images
Use positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner
Wear radiation dosimetry badge at collar and follow radiation protection standards
Operate processing, day-light loading and duplication equipment
Transmit digital images to the laser camera for filming
Report equipment problems in an efficient manner
Requirements:
American Registry Of Rad Techs (CT ARRT)
BLS (American Heart Association) required
Radiologic Health Flouroscopy (RG RHT)
Radiology Technologist (CT RTT)
Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
Nice to have:
Previous experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred CRT
