Job Responsibility

Produce diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions
Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
Contribute to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
Understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results
Contribute to the positive image of the Radiology Department by communicating information in a factual courteous manner
Thoroughly understand required preparations in the examinations performed in the radiology department
Demonstrate the ability to recognize priorities and deal with them promptly
Question the patient before the exam to obtain a patient history
Always question female patients as to whether they may be pregnant

Performs quality patient care in collaboration with the Physician and Registered Nurse during all cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures and electrophysiology studies
Assists in all duties related to catheterization lab procedures
Primarily responsible for radiographic equipment, radiographs, and related imaging and archiving
Participates as a surgical scrub tech as necessary
Monitors and processes hemodynamic data
Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory
Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness
