Requirements

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) - Provided by American Heart Association (AHA)
Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
Medical Radiographer: XX (MRAD:XX)

Job Responsibility

Under the direction of a physician and with little supervision, performs procedures, using diagnostic imaging equipment designed for radiographic imaging
Provides health care services as needed, using radiographic, computed axial tomography (CT), magnetic resonance, interventional radiology, mammography, ultrasound and or nuclear medicine and PET to assist in diagnosis and treatment
Performs procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner
Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics
Provides patient care and recognizes essential critical thinking skills needed for successful completion of procedure
Participates in on-call duty as needed
As a travel CT Technologist you will have the ability to travel across CommonSpirit Health to provide your expertise when and where staffing needs arise
Proper assessment of the patient and their abilities to participate in ordered procedures
Provides a clear explanation of the procedure including
duration, process, and what to expect following completion

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in a clinical field (nursing, surgical tech, radiology tech, etc.) OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience in a clinical field
Technical experience in the medical field with strong understanding of OR and procedural suites
Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices
Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
Evidence of continued personal and professional growth and development
Ability to travel frequently and often

Ability to lead in the face of ambiguity
Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and drive results

Job Responsibility

Be a key member of the field sales team with all clinical educational needs and training
Provide clinical expertise and product knowledge to support the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations and in-service training
Collaborate with the Territory Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to specific markets
Execute successful trials and implementations within health care settings
Provide classroom style training in addition to “live” operating room and office customer support
Thoroughly understand and demonstrate effective use of all approved clinical data/studies
Maintain clinical expertise on industry practices and trends to assist customers, internal stakeholders
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Practice accountability and communicate effectively
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies
