Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the daily work flow, develop schedules, and act as subject matter experts for their units
  • Developing and leading staff to be personally accountable for the organizational mission, core values and success
  • Ensuring appropriate orientation for new employees to the unit
  • Assuring current standards of practice for the unit

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree strongly preferred
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 1 year of related experience
  • 3 years of imaging experience strongly preferred
  • Current Registered Technologist, Radiology – R.T. (R) (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association

  • Performs procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics
  • Provides patient care and recognizes essential critical thinking skills needed for successful completion of procedure
  • Participates in on-call duty as needed
