Job Description:

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
  • Adhere to the Standards of Conduct Requirements
  • Complete and turn in the SOC acknowledgement card
  • Fulfill compliance education requirements
  • Demonstrate competency in department-specific Customer Service Standards
  • Comply with hospital/departmental policy and procedures, and adhere to the code of ethics and conduct of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Understand and adhere to procedure orders requirements to include: verifying orders in the medical chart, prescriptions, and verifying patient's identification
  • Meet annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, ancillary areas, and internal staff
  • Demonstrate the capacity to evaluate, coordinate, and execute responsibilities under pressure situations
  • Have the initiative to resolve customer problems by self, and involve supervisors as necessary

Requirements:

  • High School GED General Studies
  • One (1) year or more as a technologist in a full service Radiology Department preferred
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech
