This position may qualify for up to $30,000 sign on bonus! This is a split position. 32 hours in CT and 32 hours in general diagnostic. Job Responsibility
Perform Core Imaging: Conduct radiographic and CT exams with precision, ensuring optimal patient positioning and the lowest possible radiation dose
Support Diagnostics: Provide radiologists with comprehensive patient histories and optimal images for accurate diagnoses
Ensure Safety & Quality: Master contrast material procedures, including consent, IV starts (with nursing), and appropriate reaction protocols. Contribute to department quality control and maintain state/federal accreditation standards
Patient-Centered Care: Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout their exam, from transport to completion
Operational Excellence: Manage image processing, proper coding, scheduling, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace
Team Collaboration: Share on-call duties, weekends, and holidays, fostering a supportive and flexible team environment
Requirements
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Ongoing CT specified education including radiation protection and minimization of patient radiation exposure
Preference for one year experience working as a Radiologic Technologist and/or CT Tech
