Job Responsibility:
Responsible for performing all aspects of general, neuro, and interventional radiography in multiple settings on multiple patient types
Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others
Displays competency performing procedures
follows every step for taking an x-ray
Always produces high quality films
Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright
and assures that patient information is clearly visible
Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology
Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO, Radnet, PACS and other hospital systems
Assists Imaging Support in locating films/images, loading CD's, printing reports and assisting physicians
Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department forms per protocol
Requirements:
High School Graduate/GED
Medical Radiographer: AZ
Basic Life Support - CPR
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, or Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, or Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Registered Technologist Quality Management, or Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, or Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography
