Job Responsibility

  • Producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions
  • Performing a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
  • Contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
  • Demonstrating knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
  • Performing procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols
  • Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals
  • Supports and reports any identified compliance matters
  • Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction
  • Maintains professional development and education for technical competency

Requirements

  • Associates Of Science In Radiologic Technology or a related field, upon hire and
  • Other Completion of an Accredited Program: The program must be accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)., upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
