Job Description

As our Radiologic Technologist at CHI Williston Health, you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Job Responsibility

  • Producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions
  • Performing a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
  • Actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
  • Obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding
  • Using portable x-ray machines and c-arms
  • Assisting Radiologist with Fluoroscopic procedures
  • Instructing and educating patient regarding the ordered test and preparing the patient for the procedure
  • Using CR reader, erasing CR cassettes, sending images from CR reader, and performing image manipulation as necessary
  • Accessing PACS, reviewing studies, and performing basic functions for image manipulations
  • Resolving QA issues, closing studies as reviewed, burning CDs, transferring images, and printing from PACS
  • Recording all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer: ND, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
