Radiologic Technologist

• Produce diagnostic images
• Perform imaging examinations including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
• Contribute to a positive patient experience
• Obtain quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding
• Use portable x-ray machines and c-arms
• Assist Radiologist with Fluoroscopic procedures
• Instruct and educate patient regarding the ordered test and prepare the patient for the procedure
• Use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation
• Access PACS, review studies, perform basic functions for image manipulations, resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, completely, timely, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms

• Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
• Medical Radiographer: ND, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
