Job Description:

Pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Actively contribute to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
  • Perform complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director
  • Obtain and document patient history
  • Prepare equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
  • Perform periodic QA and ensures requisite documentation
  • Problem solve equipment failure and contact appropriate personnel regarding equipment problems
  • Ensure that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards
  • Complete all quality checks and ensure that equipment logs are maintained
  • Complete all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology
  • Must have completed an accredited Radiology program (Associates Degree)
  • MRAD - TX
  • Must have one of these certifications: RTR/RTBD/RTCT/RTCV/RTM/RTMR/RTN/RTQM/RTT/RTVI/RTVS
  • BLS - Within 14 days of hire
