Pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. Requires deep understanding of diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
Job Responsibility:
Perform complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director
Obtain and document patient history
Prepare equipment ensuring it is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
Perform periodic QA and ensure requisite documentation
Problem solve equipment failure and contact Lead Technologist regarding equipment problems
Ensure daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards
Complete all quality checks and ensure equipment logs are maintained
Complete all clinical supply inventories, ensuring each diagnostic room is complete with necessary supplies required to perform the procedure
Requirements:
Medical Radiographer: TX, upon hire
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
