Job Description:

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director
  • Obtains and documents patient history
  • Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
  • Performs periodic QA and ensures requisite documentation
  • Problem solves equipment failure and contacts Lead Technologist regarding equipment problems
  • Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards
  • Completes all quality checks and ensures that equipment logs are maintained
  • Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution
  • Medical Radiographer: TX (MRAD:TX)
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an approved AHA program
  • Experience Required None
