Job Description:

Candidate is trained and competent in two or more diagnostic imaging modalities, and agrees to work part of their scheduled hours in each area • Areas of competence must include Radiology plus CT, or Interventional Procedures, or Mammography • May be required to participate in taking call for either or both areas • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

  • Advocacy & Communication: Act as a critical link between patients and radiologists, offering comfort, protection, and expert communication. Respond effectively to emergency situations within your scope of authority
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise patient records by documenting pertinent information in the patient chart and promptly advising nursing staff of any significant changes in a patient’s condition observed in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Operational Excellence: Participate in incidental general office duties such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, managing patient records, ordering supplies, and assisting with equipment inventory
