Pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Performs imaging examinations while actively contributing to a positive patient experience.
Job Responsibility:
Produces diagnostic images
Performs a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs
Contributes to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others
Independently performs CT and radiographic procedures at a technical level
Ensures all CT and radiographic images are of diagnostic quality
Displays competency performing procedures
Uses proper technique to reduce patient exposure to radiation (ALARA)
Takes all precautions necessary to ensure the patient's safety during procedures
Requirements:
Associates Of Science Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology
One (1) year of current experience performing CT and Radiographic procedures in an emergency room setting, upon hire
Medical Radiographer: AZ, upon hire
CT Radiology Tech: AZ, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire
Nice to have:
Level 1 or 2 trauma center ER experience
