Radiation Therapist

You will deliver targeted ionizing radiation to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring each session is tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will help verify treatment plans, set up treatment rooms, and perform daily quality assurance checks on equipment. The role requires careful monitoring of patients during treatment, recognizing signs of complications, and communicating effectively to keep everyone safe. Additionally, you'll create custom immobilization devices to keep patients aligned precisely, reinforcing safety protocols to protect yourself, patients, and staff. This assignment offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, providing consistent daytime hours in a setting that values accuracy and patient safety, all while contributing to impactful patient outcomes.
