Job Responsibility

Accurately delivering prescribed courses of radiation therapy to cancer patients, ensuring clinical precision and patient comfort
Meticulously positioning patients, operating sophisticated radiation equipment, performing daily quality assurance checks, and carefully monitoring patients throughout treatment, providing support and clear communication
Performing patient's simulations under direction of physician, which includes patient alignment, portal marking and chart documentation
Supplying data for and assist in fabrication and/or designs patient immobilization and treatment devices, such as vaculocks, bolus and aquaplast masks
Assisting in dosimetry procedures, including obtaining patient parameters
Providing patient and family adult education regarding simulation, treatment procedures and possible reactions (as directed by physician/nurse)
