Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients, contributing to their recovery and overall health. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients
Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process

Requirements:

Knowledgeable in the areas of anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety
Demonstrate knowledge of radiotherapy treatment implementation to include basic dosimetry and isodose plan knowledge
Demonstrate knowledge of CT simulation process
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of basic computer skills and radiation oncology software programs
Basic customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Graduate of a Radiation Therapy Program
Two years previous experience as a radiation therapist preferred
AART registered
Maintain a current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy, 24 hours continuing education in a 2-year period
Current BCLS certification
