Job Description:

A highly regarded outpatient clinic and hospital is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist to join their team in Tampa, FL. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment, including linear accelerators and upcoming proton therapy technology. The role requires full-time on-site coverage and includes rotational weekend call with minimal call-back.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with advanced radiation oncology technology
  • Manage a variety of cancer cases
  • Collaborate in treatment planning and delivery
  • Participate in rotational weekend call

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Certified in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Clinical experience in proton therapy is desirable
  • Expertise in Radiation Oncology techniques, including Brachytherapy and External Beam Therapy
  • Familiarity with treatment planning software like Eclipse TPS, ARIA OIS, and MIM
  • Ability to perform Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Competency in image-guided radiation therapy and clinical trials

Nice to have:

Clinical experience in proton therapy is desirable
