Accredited Residency training
Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology

Job Responsibility

Design and supervise the execution of high-quality radiation treatments for patients with various diseases
Ensure all quality control standards are implemented and constant quality assurance measures are in place
Remain in compliance with best standards of patient care service documentation and all appropriate regulatory agency requirements
Visually view, evaluate, and interpret medical records, physical exams, and other relevant data of patients
to include competency in taking history and examining patients
Process all essential clinical and diagnostic findings into sound treatment recommendations in multidisciplinary settings
Advocate and educate other clinicians within the Center regarding the current developments in radiation oncology and the future treatment options available across disease sites
Identify and solve problems related to job responsibilities using knowledge and experience in multiple settings
must be able to move from one multidisciplinary disease site to another
Active participation in Radiation Oncology peer review and Safety Committee

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Must be a member in good standing of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Currently licensed or licensure eligible as a Radiation Therapist in the State of New York
