Job Description:

We’re recruiting enthusiastic Race Day and Event Stewards to join our team for the 2026 race season at Chester Racecourse and Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering safe, memorable experiences across an exciting calendar of race days and events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Check and validate tickets
  • Serve as the first point of contact for general enquiries
  • Carry out car park stewarding duties, ensuring the safe entry and exit of vehicles
  • Monitor and maintain crowd safety at all times
  • In the event of an emergency or evacuation, follow safety procedures and guide guests to exit the venue safely

Requirements:

  • Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
  • Strong guest experience skills
  • Confidence communicating in conversational English
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must undertake training in Level 2 Spectator Safety within 12 months of working

Nice to have:

  • Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification
  • First Aid at Work qualification
