One of our clients is looking for a R2R Workstream Lead to support designing, standardising and optimising the end-to-end R2R process. This engagement sits at the heart of a process evolution programme, building on the implementation of NetSuite ERP and the creation of a new Finance Shared Service. The focus is firmly on standardising and optimising Record‑to‑Report processes, rather than starting from scratch, and embedding best‑in‑class ways of working across the Finance Shared Services Centres. This role will act as the R2R workstream lead, operating as a de‑facto Global Process Owner (GPO) during the contract, while also coaching and upskilling a permanent team member to ultimately take ownership of the role longer‑term.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the review, consolidation, and standardisation of end‑to‑end R2R processes, transitioning from inherited legacy ways of working to a single, scalable global model
Design and document best‑practice R2R processes aligned to the recently implemented NetSuite ERP, working closely with the core ERP delivery lead
Develop clear SOPs, process maps, and RACIs, highlighting hand‑offs between controllership, shared services, procurement, and group finance
Map and optimise complex intercompany accounting and costing flows, ensuring alignment with group policies and controls
Partner closely with Finance Shared Services teams, supporting adoption, training, and operational readiness
Deliver knowledge transfer and coaching to R2R leads, building capability towards a future GPO model
Act as a trusted advisor to senior finance stakeholders, using strong EQ and stakeholder management skills to drive change in a collaborative, people‑first culture
Requirements:
Deep, hands‑on Record‑to‑Report process expertise, having led R2R transformation, GPO, or process ownership roles previously
NetSuite experience highly desirable and a significant advantage
Background as a qualified accountant, with early‑career experience in core accounting roles before moving into transformation / change
Proven experience designing and standardising R2R processes within shared services or global finance operating models
Strong exposure to intercompany accounting, costing, and cross‑border finance flows
Comfortable operating in evolving environments, focused on process maturity and optimisation rather than greenfield design
Highly people‑centric, with excellent stakeholder management, emotional intelligence, and coaching capability
