Job Description:

Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? If so, we have an opportunity within our Water Supply Repair and Maintenance (R&M) team. This role will see you travel across the Northern region, covering Trowbridge, Chippenham, Bath, and everything in between. Our depot is located in Trowbridge but the works are site-based, and daily travelling will be required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out a variety of repair and maintenance activities to the water supply network
  • Install meters and other supply network fittings
  • Challenge burst water mains
  • Large diameter mains work and temporary works
  • Landscaping and general building works to finish sites to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to tow a trailer over 750kg
  • Current Streetworks licence
  • Good knowledge and experience of R&M activities, including large-diameter mains
  • Groundworks licence
  • 360 excavator licence (above and below 10 tonnes)
  • Experience in temporary works up to 3m in depth
