Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of 4-6 developers, working on large-scale, complex, and cutting-edge systems
  • Manage the delivery of multiple, complex, simultaneous development projects from design to release
  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed closely, while driving all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
  • Make key decisions to ensure the right effort for the successful implementation of all initiatives

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a leader and at least 8 years as an engineer
  • Experience in managing highly-skilled developers, and the ability to lead, coach, guide, and influence them
  • Proven experience in Python/Go/Java
  • Experience in developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems
  • Experience in SaaS/Cloud/Microservices architecture
  • Strong track record of leading and managing the delivery of software development projects, meeting key milestones, and overcoming challenges
  • Previous experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design of high-scale distributed systems
  • Ability to manage, track, and identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them
  • Willingness to work with a driven team in a fast-paced, context-switching environment
