As the Supply Chain and Logistics Apprentice you will gain essential skills and knowledge required to plan, manufacture, and deliver medicine to clinical trial patients, all whilst actively studying towards your BSc (Hons) Supply Chain Management qualification with Aston University.

Job Responsibility:

  • Learn and apply the best practices in inventory management, demand and supply planning and logistics operational activities
  • Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain process from sourcing and procurement, label creation, packaging, distribution and delivery of materials and medicines, including warehousing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a timely and smooth flow of medicines and materials, meeting customer demands and regulatory requirements
  • Plan and execute operational activities such as production scheduling, packaging, and labeling
  • Use data for analysis and reporting to support decision making and process optimization
  • Contribute to implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency
  • Participate in projects related to sustainability, cost reduction, and process improvement

Requirements:

  • Must have/be predicted three A levels at CCC or above or equivalent
  • GCSE Mathematics and English (grade A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily
