R&d Lab Technician

• Assist research scientists in the formulation, testing, and scale-up of new chemical products
• Conduct performance evaluations and report technical data using standard office software and analytical tools
• Manage laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and the organization of chemical inventories
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluation data, sample lists, and external feedback
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment in all laboratory zones
• Chemical list, sample list, and evaluation data, customer test feedback management, and documentation
• Works safely and wears personal protective equipment in required areas

• Minimum qualification of an ITE or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
• Proficient in the safe handling of chemicals and raw materials within a laboratory setting
• Prior experience in the adhesives, coatings, or paint industry is highly advantageous
• Strong technical reporting skills with the ability to organize complex data into formal formats
• Capability to perform hands-on laboratory tasks and manage lifting up to 20kg

0~3 years’ relevant experience in coating paint or adhesive industry is an advantage
