Immediate role available. 8 months contract role for a Lab Technician supporting R&D initiatives. Location in the North East. Great MNC. Job Responsibility:
Assist research scientists in the formulation, testing, and scale-up of new chemical products
Conduct performance evaluations and report technical data using standard office software and analytical tools
Manage laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and the organization of chemical inventories
Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluation data, sample lists, and external feedback
Adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment in all laboratory zones
Chemical list, sample list, and evaluation data, customer test feedback management, and documentation
Works safely and wears personal protective equipment in required areas
Requirements:
Minimum qualification of an ITE or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
Proficient in the safe handling of chemicals and raw materials within a laboratory setting
Prior experience in the adhesives, coatings, or paint industry is highly advantageous
Strong technical reporting skills with the ability to organize complex data into formal formats
Capability to perform hands-on laboratory tasks and manage lifting up to 20kg
Nice to have:
0~3 years’ relevant experience in coating paint or adhesive industry is an advantage
