Job Description:

Early career electrical/electronic engineer will design, analyze and develop systems, components, algorithms for high speed ethernet switching designs. Will assist in architectural development and assessment plus develop, direct and execute test and verification of new products and support cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Digital circuit design and analysis for new and existing high speed ethernet switches
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout of new designs and modification of existing designs
  • Development, planning and execution of test plans including electrical and functional verification of new designs
  • Support extended teams (software, manufacturing, test) in bring-up, validation and product introduction

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • Fundamental understanding of instrumentation and probing theory and practice
  • Practical experience with oscilloscopes, network analyzers and measurement techniques
  • Understanding of components, signals and circuits through means of bode plots and impedance measurements
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages
