Job Responsibility:
Lead design projects as technical workstream leader focusing on formulation design for Larger global projects (primary focus on liquids & new formats)
Lead Few smaller projects as technical project leader with end-to-end execution and technology transfer
Contribute pro-actively in identifying & supporting Value improvement opportunities
Follow global ways of working as per the Global Design Centre with timely alignments
Responsibility for necessary literature scan, trends tracking and competitor analysis to inspire innovation opportunity exploration
Lead and ensure compliance to mandatory checklist like risk management, intellectual property protection and patent, regulatory and SEAC clearance, Product performance/ delivered quality for the formulations and creating technical transfer dockets
Lead / Support conversations and give technical inputs on the right choice of mixes per project brief
Lead the discussion with CBFMs (Fragrance team) and give timely & technical inputs on the fragrance brief as per the shortlisted buy and deploy product
Responsible for ensuring full compliance on product / pack compatibility, stability studies are as per Unilever protocols
Responsible for claims and label declaration signoff from Global and Local Claims forums are done with relevant support documents
Requirements:
Postgraduate with knowledge of Science or Technology Courses (Chemistry, material science, Chemical Engineering is more preferred)
8+ yrs of experience in fast-moving consumer goods FMCG industry
Proven track record of leading innovation projects & teams - delivering with speed at a consistently high standard
Excellent understanding of Product Development Principles, DOEs and related R & D Processes and Protocols
Good Verbal/written Communication skills ability to influence peers, key stakeholders and senior leaders
Minimum fluency in English for communication (reading, writing, speaking)
Ability to work independently with Cross-functional team members
Excellent People Management Skills, Financial Skills and Business acumen
